What I do is act like I am curling it but only leave the iron in for half the time...be sure to hairspray it too :)How to get wavy hair with a curling iron?
If you only curl chunks instead of all your hair it would give the impression of wavy hair or you could curl all your hair and tease it a bit and mess it up slightly.
