How can i make my hair curl with out an iron or gel?

i want to make my hair curly i have wavy long hair but i dont like the scrunch look and i dont want to have to spend alot of time in the morning or night with a curling iron before schoolHow can i make my hair curl with out an iron or gel?
french braid your hair and sleep with the braid on, the next morning unbraid the braid and make sure NOT to comb your hair because it'll ruin it and tada you have beautiful curls

P.S spray hair spray or styling spray to hold the braids longerHow can i make my hair curl with out an iron or gel?
Buy curlformers! its the only hair curler that works on my hair and its amazing and no heat damage and you just sleep with them! ive been using them for a year and there amazing! check out there web maybe? or buy them at sallys beauty supplies~ :)

use a mousse before you braid it and it'll help hold the curl in better, or use a diffuser in the morning.
before you go to bed at night take a shower (maybe use the herbal essences shampoo conditioner thing for curly hair) then put it in rollers and then when you wake up you have curls! yu can also use hot rollers, or put your hair in multiple braids or you can do one huge braids. it depends how your hair would dry in it, so try different things! good luck!
Rag Curls! It takes a little bit of time the night before and it helps if someone does if for you but they turn out gorgeous!!

Here's a link on how to do them:

That's just one link but if you type in something in youtube along the lines of how to do rag curls there's a ton of videos! :)
Okay I have really curly hair and what I do is after I shower and my hair is still pretty wet is I take two sections and do pig tails then with the two sections curl them into two separate ringlets and keep twisting them until they stay in place. And you can put some gel to hold them in place while you sleep, then when you wake up take them out, brush a little and voile!
