If you have a hairdryer, when you are drying your hair, use a round brush and curl your hair into it while running the dryer over that area. Just keep flipping it, and it usually works. If you don't have a round brush, you can pick one up at the dollar store. Real cheap. How to curl hair without plaiting, curling iron or straightner?
leave your hair curled outside the toilet roll. leave it overnight. i guess...
Use a diffuser. You can also braid your hair when wet, then sleep with the braids in and your hair will be wavy/curly. You can also section your hair in tiny buns and twist and pin while wet and then sleep and wake up with it dry and curly!
get your hairspray or sum type of holding product n seperate strands of hair....(dont over do the product, or itll be stiff)

take the strand of hair and and bring it round n round until it looks like acircle on your head, keep in place with a bobby pin....precede to doing the other strands.....let sit as long as you think itll take for the waves/curls to stay in (2 hrs approx.)

Use tissues. roll three or four tissues diagonally. Take a well combed and smoothened section of your hair. roll hair tightly around the middle of the rolled up tissue. tie ends of tissue to secure it. go to the next section of hair. Leave it in for a couple of hours if you don't have a hairdrier or overnight. undo the ties and run your fingers through the curls or use a wide-tooth comb to style
