Could anybody tell me how to curl hair without a curling iron? And make it stay that way? Like, I tried braiding my hair and then sleeping with it but it would'nt stay in curls....also, could anybody tell me what scrunching is? =.= not sure what it is...How to curl hair WITHOUT a curling iron? o.o?
Scrunching: It is when you take a fistful of damp hair ( large handful ofr loose curls, smaller for tighter ones) and with gel all over your hands you scrunch hair like paper startign from the ends to the roots. Clip it up with a large clip and finish the rest of you hair. THen use a diffuser to set it. Spray soem max hold hairspray for extra strong hold.

How to Curl hair WITHOUT a curlign iron:

Make a loose bun on TOP of your head and spray it with hairspray. Sleep on it overnight and the next morning you should have nice curls AND volume.

OR

Take a strand of hair ( 1'') and spray hairspray on it. THen curl it with your fingers and secure it in place with bobby pins. Sleep on it overnight and viola!

OR

Use hot rollers, rollers.

Scrunching is when you scrunch your hair when it is wet to make waves :) It works better with curly/wavy hair but not well for my naturally straight hair ):

I try this and it is just as good as using a curling/flat iron. The waves turn out really pretty!! No heat all you need is hair ties and maybe hair spray %26lt;3

scrunching hair is getting gel/ hairspray and well...scrunching it with your hands to make in wave. what i do is when my hair is wet poof it then finger comb get through and twist it into 2 buns on each side of head. then take out when 98% dry and lightly spray hairspray(hairspray optional) and it should come out with a spiral curl=)
Scrunching is using mousse and rubbing it in your hands then scrunch it in wet hair. To scrunch you basically take your hands and squish your hair and hold in for a few seconds. Sometimes I blow dry my hair and then put it up in rollers to cool for like 20 mins. They aren't perfect spirals but more like soft waves. Hope I helped!
well you can go to the hair dresser and have them wash your hair and put rollers in it and sit you up under the dryer and and wen your hair is dry it is curled so... and its even better because you dont have to use as much heat in it......-_-
Well I cant really help since my hair is naturally curly, so when it comes into contact with water it's curly. My friend has wavy/straight hair and she washes her hair and uses moose (however u spell that) then she puts her up in a messy bun and lets it loose sometime later
Have you ever tried curlers.

i use them with a little bih of

hair spray and it works pretty well,

i guess it depends on your hair,

but its worth trying..
you can rod it while its wet or use magnetic rollers and sit under a dryer.
try using curling shampoo
curl it with a flat iron. (there are tutorials on youtube).

put curlers in your hair @ night.
