How to curl naturally curly hair with a curling iron?

I have naturally curly hair, well its kind of more tight waves. Lately it has been much more ringlet-y. Anyways, in all the tutorials on how to curl your hair, they start with straight hair...i don't have straight hair... If i were to straighten it and then curl it it wouldn't hold at all. Also its a lot of heat for my hair. How can i curl it with my hair naturally curly? How to curl naturally curly hair with a curling iron?
well, if u straiten ur hair b4 this activity, im sure itll work!!! B cause i have natural straight- light waves hair. Or if u take a shower, and straighten it, that couldd also work!

1. Gather or buy a pack 0f 70-100 clothespins, or large curlers, the more hair, the more clothespins/ the larger the curlers.

2. take a small section or strand of hair, open up the clothespin, and wrap it around on either side of the pin. once ur finished, clip the end together.

3. finish with all the sections.

4. Take a blow dryer, and blow dry all the sections evenly for a few seconds, or until the strand is dry.

5. Take all the pins out, the hairspray, if necessary. How to curl naturally curly hair with a curling iron?
It would be counter productive for you to straighten and then curl your hair. You can use the same method to curl your hair as if it were straight. Take a small section and brush it out then take your curling iron and curl your hair to the desired shape.
