When i curl my hair with a curling iron, its not very curly?

my hairs super straight, and when i curl it, its not very curly. the curling irons thin. how to get curlier hair? and how long should i hold each piece? how thick of a peice should i curl at a time? thanks in advanced! When i curl my hair with a curling iron, its not very curly?
i have straight hair too what i do is pin hair up in sections

-clip up hair at top of your head and work with it starting from bottom to top.

-get a small portion of hair starting at the bottom

-curl it with curling iron then spray with hairspray to hold

-hold for 25 seconds

you should get curls this way, then just repeat until all your hair is curled. When i curl my hair with a curling iron, its not very curly?
Naturally straight hair doesn't curl very well, and it's easier to damage. I suggest that if you want to curl your hair, wash it the night before, dry it and put sponge rollers in, then sleep with them. When you take them out in the morning, run your fingers through your hair and put on a bit of hair spray. It's not the comfiest to sleep with but the curls do stay in!

Good luck!
use 1 inch or less sized sections hold it for 10 seconds.

and spray hairspray on your hair while its on the culer to get it to hold its shape.

trust me it works.
Hey curling hair properly can be tedious as you need to take small sections, try spraying the section of hair with hairspray before curling as this will not only help hold the curl but also protect the hair from the heat also waving irons are good as you use this like crimpers and they give a wavy curl.
wow ok... maybe you should try switching ur curling iron. and if the one you currently have has different heat settings try a higher setting. i don't think a thin curling iron is best but if you cant get another right now, you just have to work with smaller pieces of hair. and you should hold it for about ten seconds if that much whatever works to get the curl everyones hair is different.

another thing is try plugging in the curling iron a little while before your ready to use it, and in between pieces let it heat back up. and when you curl a piece pin it up with a bobby pin until you done your entire head, let them cool for a little while and then pull the pins out. you could also try buying a product that enhances curls. and... you could try roller setting your hair or use spirals. i hope something works for you, good luck.
