I want to know how you curl the very top of your hair. Most people regonize it by the crown. I dont want only the ends curled i want the very top curled too. Is there a way to do that with a curling iron?How do you curl the very top part of your hair with a curling iron?

Yes take it over direct it. place comb at root to keep from burning your scalp and roll it down. Layers will help as well.

The ';Barrel'; curling Iron is the best for this job!
However, if you have a regular curling iron with the clamp then this is what you will want to do. ( lets see if i can explain this...)
-Use your curling iron and wrap the piece of hair around it as if you were using a barrel curling iron. When you do this make sure you move the clamp ( i know you cant remove the clamp, but push the lever to that the clamp away from the iron) Careful not to burn your self!
Kinda hard to explain this one, In this case it's easier done than said! lol
In all simplicity, just use your regular curling iron as if it were a ';barrel'; curling iron and you can achieve these curls from scalp to ends...I do it all the time!
