i bought the curler and when the sellers tried it on me it worked perfectly but when i tried to curl my hair boy it was terrrible! i have the 25 MM CILINDRICO CYLINDER CURLING IRON! help!! i really wanna curl my hair and cant return it because it was not from a regular store! and it was too expensive so i cant get another curler! ok- you answered my question, so i'm answering urs.
so, here are 2 options for what you should do.
HEALTHY OPTION- braid your hair into about 10 really, really tight sections. Sleep (for at least 8 hours.) Before going to sleep, apply curling gel (optional.) This works really well for me on a sunday night lol :) when you get up, before you undo the braids, add curling gel (if you didn't overnight, and still you can add more.) sit for some minutes and take out the braids. fluff them out for more volume, and voila! =D
I've heard that wrapping hair around pipecleaners or using cloth-curlers work too. PS. This gives your hair a crimped/curl look. depends on your hair texture.
UNHEALTHY, OR LESS HEALTHY OPTION:
Use very hot hair curler. Trust me, I suck with heat appliances too :). All you need is more practice!! It worked for me. To curl your hair, watch this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOGKEq4Gv
One reason that the culer isnt working for u could be that you have thick hair and didnt put enough heat on it!! turn up the setting and try that. when you are done curling, add curling gel if you want the look to last up to 12 hours.
