okoay the truth about curling irons is that to make the hair stay in the curl you need to use hair spray and use intense heat. Mix the two and you have major hair damage. But at the same time if you want those crispy curls youll get at the salon the curling iron is the way to go.

On the other hand, if you want softer more natural curls (with less damage) shower with your regular shampoo and air dry your hair to where its still a little damp. Use a little bit of a lite gel or scrunching curling gel on your hair and use curlers before going to bed. Use the cool setting on a blow dryer and sleep normally, dont worry about messing up the curls (this will give them a more natural look. When you wake up use the warm setting on your blow dryer for about 2-3 mins. Then take out the curlser. Viola! Curly Hair!!

curlers are hard to get in but a tiny curling iron would be quicker and easier, I find it very hard to get my strands of hair in curlers without some of the hair sticking out, it's easier when someone else does that for you. whyy do you need to take a shower to get your hair wet... just wash your hair!
At this point...your hair should be straight and dry. Take each strand of hair and put a little hair spray on the strand, and curl with your curling iron. Then put hairspray on the strand again to hold the curl. Repeat this step. Skip the rollers! If you have thick hair, this will take hoursssss...
i personally think you should take a shower as early as possible and put the curlers in, and let them set till they are dry. if you can't wait that long dry them like halfway then let them finish airdrying. take them out then spray with your hair spray. after a few moments, loosen up your curls and your good to go. and your still in school? sheesh..
My hair is thick and hard to curl!

Curlers work fine, but can be kind of hard to use sometimes!

Try the curler! Spray the strand with hairspray before you curl it, this should hold the curl.

Or you could always scrunch it! :]
ok so if you want really curly hair,i would recommend the curling iron and if you want wavy or not really curly hair then you should use the curlers.
Either would work well.

Sometimes it helps if you have mousse or something in your hair to hold the curls in.
