i'm going to buy curling iron soon but i also want straight hair have anyone try to straight hair with curling iron before?? if you are please tell me how was it look like does the result?? is it good as you use flat iron??Can i use curling iron to make straight hair?

you can do the same thing with a curling iron as straightner. just take a small amount of hair as you would w/straightner, start at root and pull straight down to tips.
It's terribly hard! I would just stick with a flat iron.
get a straightener instead because you CAN curl your hair with a straightener.
Yeah my friend does it and it looks good. but when she does it with a flat iron it looks better
instead of buying a curling iron and trying to straiten your hair, you should buy a chi flat iron. it straitens really nicely, and it is round so you can also curl your hair. it works really well for both things.

or, you could buy a straightening iron and use it to curl your hair. some CHI straighteners are meant to flip, curl and straighten..

It is possible to straighten your hair with a curling iron, but that is not what the purpose of the curling iron is for! For me, it didn't look as good as if I were to use a straightening iron. It is more difficult and you would probably save yourself time using a flat iron.
nope. you'll have better luck with a straightener.
I would suggest you buy a straightening iron that is about an inch wide instead. You can straighten your hair with a curling iron but you won't get results no where near a flat iron.
You can do both with a flat iron,
With a flat iron you can also make curls in your hair and flip it out when you need to.
You can do big curls or smaller tighter curls, all by wrapping your hair around the flat iron looser or tighter,
Plus, if you have bangs like me, you can curl your hair and then straighten out your bangs with only one tool.
get one of those things that are a straightener and a curling iron. it looks like a curling iron and the barrel is split down the middle and they coated the parts where it slipped with ceramic so you can curl and straighten it works just as well and its a good buy-2 in one!
