Get a thin flat iron, about 1 in. usually works well. Start up by the roots and clasp the flat iron down on a parting of hair. Twist the flat iron in circles while letting the hair pull through it, when all the hair is pulled through you will have a curl.
put your flatiron on your hair like 3 inches from the top and position it as you would if you were straightening it
then make a 360 turn with the flatiron and slowly slide it down. it takes some practice. try it on different locks of hair to see the difference in the way you do it.
