do any of ya'll girls have any advice as to how to curl my hair using a curling iron. I can never use rollers because they never come out right, and my hair always ends up looking dumb. But I just bought a curling iron and I still can't seem to get it right. i don't think u should use it because it might mess up your hair.
Try spraying your hair first with hairspray, then use your curling iron...you will get a better curl.
put hairspray on the piece of hair before using your curling iron. Or try putting mousse in all of your hair instead of using a curling iron works faster.
flat iron your hair and start from the very bottom of a chunck of hair use hair spray to get it to stick do it piece by piece and in layers, it takes some time but be patient and curl every chunck
After you do the curl, take it and just curl the end that didn't curl with the iron. I hope this works and at least you've been warned about curling pubic hair!

You have to pull the hair through all the way to the end and then curl that will get rid of the ';fish hooks'; and spraying your hair will give it a stiffer look than using mousse and blowdrying.
curl about one revolution higher than you want it. Use some sort of holder... like hair spray, lotion, pomade, heat hold.. to hold your curl.
Also it is important to use the right size barrel ( curling iron hot part) . Do you want bouncy curls? Tight Curls? Tight ones use smaller barrel.. bouncy use larger.. also u should get an iron with a dial adjuster. to adjust heat settings
Now the fish hook? Not sure if you are lettin the iron get hot enough or if this is from not making sure u take the iron to the edge of your hair...you have to take the iron.. start midway and smooth down the length of your hair... when u get close to the bottom start turning it..curling ur hair around it.. but then once u have some wrapped around open the clasper slightly and slideout the edge then wind some more..

the correct way to use a curling iron will take some practice. hold the iron to the end of the roots of the section you want to curl, then start clicking and turning the iron towards the end rolling in the hair evenly toprevent the fish hooks. hope this helps good luck to you
