When you finish curling a strand. gather it up and use a bobby pin and ';pin'; it to your head, continue until the whole head is done, Spray with hairspray, let dry, take out pins and respray, and dont wear a hat and avoid touching your hair with a brush or fingers :)
try curling the curls alternating from right to left. Like, curl the first curl one direction, then the next curl the other direction, and keep switching back and forth. don't forget to use hairspray!
