How can I curl my hair like this without a curling iron?

I dont even know if you would need a curling iron for that. I know how to curl my hair with a flat iron.

Also, my hair just wont scrunch :( Here a picture of me with my hair as ';scrunched'; as it gets... Which isnt really any different from my natural, except it looks wetter.

My hair does not hold a curl very well, either.

Any helpful tips would be very nice.





(Oh, I also hate using heat on my hair.. But if that's what it takes, I suppose I could do it. I would really love to know how to achieve it without heat though)How can I curl my hair like this without a curling iron?
as for curling it think twice about a curling iron, I'd use a flat iron just because its better for you hair, its quicker and easier.

put curl enhancer hair mousse in your hair while its damp and start scrunching it while blowdrying
