I've occasionally curled my hair with an iron, but the most recent time that I used it, my hair had minor damage. It's better now, but I want to know how I can get my hair curly with an iron with no damage. I don't want to do braids, and I don't want curlers or a salon trip. How do I use a curling iron without damaging my hair?
There are a few options:
1. Buy a Ceramic Curling Iron- it helps reduce damage and prevent frizz.
2. Buy a Heat Protectant- heat protectants such as Tresemme's Heat Tamer help greatly reduce damage and prevent frizzies and split ends.
3. Apply a little conditioner/leave-in conditioner. Leave-in conditioner works similar to heat protectant. If you don't have any, apply a tiny amount of regular conditioner to your hair right after you rinse your hair. Any product helps coat the hair so the product burns instead of your hair.
Hope this helps :]How do I use a curling iron without damaging my hair?
