Can someone do a step by step guide on how to curl your hair with a curling iron, + all the equipment needed?

equpiment

-hairspray (non-sticky kind) any aussi hairspray works

-clips or hair tye (if you wanna curl ALL of your hair)

1. put your hair 3 quarters of the way up..in a clip. or a pony tail. (so some hair hangs down.

2. make sure the curling iron is hot enough..open it and put it at the end of your hair..circle upwards..so you cover the curling iron with your hair (don't make it too thick or it won't work...little pieces at a time)

-wait there for about 2-3 minutes..(depending on how easy your hair curls)

3. start opening and closing the curling iron..just a little and pull down, you'll get your curl..spray it with hairspray (however much you want) and move onto the next piece of hair

4. when that whole layer is done...take out your hair tye..and than put half your hair up...and repeat the process...than a quarter...and so on.

goodluck! Can someone do a step by step guide on how to curl your hair with a curling iron, + all the equipment needed?
Equipment: curling iron- the smaller the barrel of the curling iron the tighter the curl

hair spray- depending on your hair type and how well it holds its style. I like to use Fructis hair spray they have a flexible hold and strong hold

Mousse- this should be applied when hair is damp, I use V05, it doesn't weigh the hair down or leave it crunchy

Serum- I use Treseme products to protect hair from heat and help with curling.

Clips and a comb

heat defense- V05 makes a great one

Note- It is recommended that hair be washed a day before

1. After washing hair apply the mousse throughout the hair and then comb through to make sure the product is distributed all over. Blow dry hair until damp, depending on the product some do allow you to place the serum when hair is completely dry other say to apply when damp, if so apply the serum throughout head and blow dry hair dry. Once dry apply a heat defense to protect from heat

2. Once hair is dry comb it to get any tangles out. Then separate the bottom half of the hair from the top. Clip the top half up.

3. Grab the curling iron and a small section of hair no bigger than an inch. I personally do not use the clamp instead I simply start from the top of my head making sure not to touch the scalp as this can be painful and wrap my hair on the curling iron. Hold for about 10 seconds or less and slowly unwrap the hair or if you used the way I do you just slide the curling iron. Once you have a curl make sure to spray it with the hair spray so that it holds.

4. Continue this process until the entire head is curled. At the end depending how you want the curls to look, if they are too defined then gently run your fingers through themCan someone do a step by step guide on how to curl your hair with a curling iron, + all the equipment needed?
The best thing to do is practice with the iron without turning it on. That way you get the feel of the iron and it won't damage your hair. Then when you do have heat you will be able to do it.
