k homecomings on saturday! my mom tried to curl my hair with hot rollers just now....and i ended up looking like a poodle....and neither of us can use a curling iron well.
im gonna scrunch it tomorrow, but thats more wavy. can i put mousse in and wrap sections around my finger while its air-drying?

you may have used too small of hot rollers. try some really big ones. or you could try really big foam rollers and sleep with them in. or even velcro rollers. i think some extra large foam rollers in while you sleep would be your best bet. try putting some light mousse in your hair while it's damp and then put the rollers in. when you take them out, don't brush your hair. this would make it frizzy. try softening the curls with your fingers or a really wide-tooth comb. rake your hands through with just a little mousse on your hands if you want more definition. then of course use hairspray. you might need some bobby pins to put specific curls in place. good luck!How to curl hair?!?!? no curling irons...?

i have no clue where i heard this before especially considering im a guy and i already have naturally curly hair haha but i think theres some way that involves twisting your hair with strips of cloth so it will have something to curl around and you have to use hair spray or some kind of other thing to make it hold.
not sure if that helps or not since i dont know if its true.

Relax....And so will your hair....Don't do any thing.. No mousse. Just lean over upside down and run your fingers through it...don't use a brush or comb...Just shake it out. I can't believe you can use hot rollers but not a curling iron.....You just need some practice...So on the day of home coming curl your hair real early(put the curlers in sideways) run your fingers through it all and let it relax on it's own by the time it's time to go you will look great! Have fun.
as for curling it think twice about a curling iron, I'd use a flat iron just because its better for you hair, its quicker and easier.
